Unfortunately, due to a low number of registrations and a scheduling conflict with another event, we have decided to postpone the event for now.  Therefore, registration is closed.

Costs: € 50 – VvBN members and € 60 – non-member of VvBN

Registration is now open for the VvBN PhD event which will be hosted in Maastricht on April 1-2 2026!

Join us for the two-day PhD event revolving around the theme “The Next Move”. Through workshops with, among others, Jaap van Netten, presentations of keynotes Bas van Hooren and Jessica Gubbels, and networking opportunities, participants will explore skills, insights, and strategies for shaping their future during and beyond your research career.

The event provides a friendly and informal setting to meet fellow PhD candidates from all disciplines, share research, and exchange ideas.

Even though it’s called a “PhD event,” all early-career researchers (e.g., junior researchers, research assistants) are very welcome!
